With the stock exhaust, the increase in volume is very minimal. There's a little extra volume at cold start when the wastegate is open (to heat the catalysts), but outside of that, it's all but imperceivable. IMO, the insulated SS heat shielding will retain more thermal energy in the exhaust...

Good question! Before getting into the Tacoma/4Runner/LC250 design specifically, just to clarify: the GR Corolla downpipe shown in some photos was not built by our fabricator. Our fabricator added shielding to an existing pipe provided to us for a project. So that example isn’t directly...

The OEM heat shield does not transfer. we have an optional upgraded insulated stainless thermal shield if you’d like to go that route. Here’s our shielding on a GR Corolla downpipe:

Nice! The 992 3.0LTT is a beast when tuned. I tuned my personal 992 Carrera S, and I’ve never had so much fun in a car! Even a conservative 91oct calibration does wonders.
