We now have some proper ecu access a good step in the right direction. They haven't said much in the details if it addresses the torque management or adjusts the transmission habits but im interested to see more on it and reviews.
I do find the compression on my orp (red piggyback bilstiens) to be far too stiff the rebound is good and has great control when towing. Ive found its fast bump over large potholes and speed bumps to be exceptional but the low speed small common bumps to be extremely stiff. I test drove a land...
Sounds like a sponsored review lol what tuning software is it running? If its a piggyback then it normally sends false information to the ecu from the sensors to force it to run harder which is pretty unsafe for the long term and if it is a reflash then its probably going to void warranty when...
My radio froze up 2 weeks after i got it for a trip home from work. Went back out later and it was still frozen then just went black for the whole trip. 3rd time i came it was fine and has been fine for 9000 miles. Sirus cuts out whenever u pass under a bridge or dead zone, too many trees...
Not sure what you mean by looking under the roof line but i have a non-hybrid and i like everything about it substantially more then my 5th gen. The hybrid is really pointless on these cars, i see 22-24mpg going to work mostly highway. If its packed and i stay around 55mph or less for the trip...
I havent been up any trails but i have used 4hi in my ORP on highway up hill in a straight line of course and didnt see any any temp changes while pulling a car trailer. Not sure if that helps your data collection
Im sorry i seem to be missing the part he mentions it, i see him covering the wg and some other parts which are very different from our trucks such as an air to water intercooler, ours is air to air.
It does when you put an intake on. The sounds are pretty noticeable loud. Like an old hks ssqv...
Has anyone noticed there is no pressure release valve for our engines turbo system? Thats also known as a diverter valve or blow off valve. The V6TT tundra has 2, one on each side but i cant find one on this setup leading me to believe all pressure is just surging the turbo, and it doesnt seem...
I wasn't sure either but i couldn't keep hitting bump stops with the trailer haha so far im sitting around 15-20 psi with the car loaded to balance the ride height and ride quality with the bags
This is purely for leveling and stiffening the rear springs for carrying heavier weight. Its not an air suspension that you would find in a luxury suv, that would replace the spring entirely instead of supplementing it.
with out the trailer i drop it to 5psi and it rides the same as stock...
