If I am in a rental car that’s getting used and abused and driven non-stop and there’s a rattle.. likely expected. But a brand new $60k 4Runner with less than 5K miles… unacceptable in my opinion. I’ve never had rattles in any other vehicles I’ve owned

Alright so I fall into the “my door has a rattle club” on my 2026 TRD ORP (passenger side)… I took it the dealership months ago THREE times before they finally “fixed” - I’ll give them props, they were good about taking it apart and troubleshooting each time. It went away for a while… but guess...

I also have installed the Westcott design 2.5 front .75 rear preload collar kit to my 2026 ORP and added Mickey Thompson Baja boss 285’s

UPDATE: Rattle came back…. So returned to the dealer. I read some other forum posts that it stemmed from the window channel shaking. I advised them to look into that. They determined it was the free play in the glass run channel and added isolating materials. Rattle noise is gone… hopefully...

What did you trade in? They can make up for the “discount” from a trade in value

I’ve seen a few posts about door rattle noises when driving. I had this issue in my 26 ORP. I took it in to my dealership and they went through various troubleshooting and ultimately landed on replacing the door lock assembly. See maintenance technician notes below w/ part number. Noise is gone...

swapped out the original grille on my ‘26 ORP for the trailhunter bronze grille. This was…. Fun 🙃 worth it though!

Yes I took my 2026 ORP in to the dealer today bc the right front passenger door was rattling and they are fixing it. They ordered a part to replace. Kept it over night so I’ll find out more tomorrow.
