Has Toyota completed a "smoke machine" test? Usually that's what I would do when I'd have a vehicle come in with an issue that was fuel and evap related that was harder to visibly see.

Since your wife owns a 6th Gen and you already have a great capable vehicle I would just keep the 5th Gen. The price of $70k+ (depending on sticker and or dealer mark up) is insane IMO. To save that type of money I could live with the dash rattle and low power output. If anything maybe add new...

99% of people can get away with running a C load tire. I've off roaded some gnarly trails with various vehicles running C loads in the last few years. The only function it has is getting caught up on something to just be pulled down and damage the bumper cover. Plus it is hideous IMO

Paid $1800 below MSRP two weeks ago for a TRD OR i-Force Max. The dealer waived all their add on's such as ceramic window tint, clear edge guards, door cups and some junk faux ceramic coating they do as well (total they showed $1999 for add on's)
