Take this with a grain of salt as I do my own oil changes but not really a mechanically savvy car guy...
I did my oil change at 2k miles because I was told it was important to get the metal particulates out of the engine from the manufacturing process. I did watch the oil fairly closely and I...
yeah, most of my driving is highway. Before I got it, I thought about putting premium fuel in it, but I decided to just go with 87 since it's a Toyota and I don't want to pay premium fuel prices. I do wish my MPG was a bit closer to 20 at least, but I do tend to have a heavier foot
Mine is reading 17.8mpg, about 2k miles on the rig. I would say 1800 of those miles is highway driving, the other 200 miles is city driving. 87 octane.
according to my Fuelly app, this is my MPG
You and I have the same truck lol. But congrats, it does ride really smooth. I have 1500 miles on mine and it's been great. I was pleasantly surprised with the JBL system as well. I love the tech inside also, it's great.
This is a good question, I can check when I get home tomorrow because I'm not sure, and my Toyota app that is supposed to track the pressures is giving me issues with my profile so it's not taking data at the moment.

Tires: 275/70/r18 Terra grappler G3's SL
About 250 pounds of cargo in the back on this trip (the tires I took...
I bet it has to do with that elongated intake for water fjording, i was looking at trailhunters And even I had some reservations about it. I think it’s due to the fact that even the trailhunter is going to a daily for the vast majority of drivers and idk, some people make think it’s a bit too...
Yeah this is my thinking, it's 2025. My thinking is don't be stupid and try to do things that the tires clearly aren't meant for and you should be fine
Good write up. Like I posted in mine, I fully concede that a C or E rated tire would be better, but this is going to be my daily and I don't plan on doing anything that requires rock crawling or anything like that. Plus, one of the only SL tires I can find in the size I want (275/70/18) is the...
