Dealer allocated future build, no deposit or dealer mark-up. Kings Toyota by me does a mandatory Zurich Shield on every car (but MSRP was adjusted down to compensate).
Got the call of a future build beginning of June, hit the line in Japan mid-June, left port in Japan 6/24, arrived in Oregon 7/7, arrived in Chicago 7/28, arrived in Cincinnati 7/31.

Glad to join the club…and this forum! There are a helluva lot of knowledgeable people here.

My truck has already had quite a journey on its own (as all of ours have). I’ve been following the trip from Japan to Portland…then 3 weeks on a BNSF train with sightings in Washington and Nebraska, finally arriving in the Argentine yard in Kansas City, KS. It hung out there for a week before being loaded onto an auto transport. Two days later it landed at the dealer in Missouri, and I couldn’t get there fast enough!
