Have had mine for 2500 miles and could not be happier. Kinda sparse on the inside but nothing i need that is not in truck. Handles very well after coming from a Tahoe. Comfortable and nimble. Do you believe any negative review. Would prefer better sound and gas tank capacity but nit picks.
Last nit is squeaking brakes which dealer says are subject to upcoming recall.
Get one of 6th gens.

Is this brand new news that the dealer has the inside scoop on? Or is it just bs they told you to placate you for the time being? The most that anyone on here has reported thus far are TSBs but for other TNGA-F vehicles, not 4Runner.

The service rep was the dealer guy. Not sure if he understood difference but he used the term "recall". I am guessing he knew the difference and that it may be related to safety issues as requiring recall since it was brakes.
