Distance From Front Row Seats to Tailgate / Liftgate (with 2nd and/or 3rd rows folded):

72" inches from tailgate / liftgate to front row seat in normal seating position
84" inches from tailgate / liftgate to front row seat pushed all the way forward
Trunk opening height at the tailgate is 31" inches.


WITHOUT 3RD ROW SEATS

Cargo area dimensions (measurements) in an 2025 4Runner gas non-hybrid model without 3rd row seats.

42" inches from back seats to the rear of the cargo space
59" inches from folded back seats to the rear of the cargo space


WIDTH

Width (cargo floor): 52" inches
Width between wheel wells: 43" inches


HEIGHT

Height (floor to ceiling): ~ 31" inches

My wife (5') could almost sleep in the cargo area with 2nd row folded. This could be helpful info in getting her to agree for some overnight car camping. ?

The dimension with the rear seat folded and tumbled is disappointing: 4'11. My 2003 4th Gen has 6' with the rear seats folded flat! I (5'8) won't be able to sleep in the back. Now I wonder how hard/easy is it to remove the rear seats of 6th Gen?

Thanks. I saw that thread and the pics after the seats were removed. Just not sure how hard... (If it's something that be quickly and easily removed before a camping trip?)

I didn't see it, so my apologies if I missed it, but did we get a measurement from the 1st row seat backs to the tailgate with the 2nd and 3rd row folded? would seem like a drawer platform even with the folded 2nd row would be the winning setup.

I've been keeping eye out for that measurement as well, but haven't seen it posted yet.

Maybe when @Kokorone gets his SR5's seats re-installed he can take all the cargo measurements for us, including the distance from 1st row seats to tailgate with 2nd+3rd rows folded. ??

Does this mean that the cargo mat for the 2 row version fits the 3 row version with the 3row seats folded?

Does the front passenger seat also fold back/forward, so you could, for example, carry a few long 8-10' 2x4's, or an 8' long narrow box, inside with the liftgate closed?
