Just put a deposit down on an order for a Platinum trim w/fixed running boards. Dealer said 3-6 months wait. For colour preference I said supersonic red as first choice then cutting edge silver for second. I'm pumped!

Congrats! Was it two months after you put the deposit down? Or two months after they let you know that the vehicle was in production?I’m finally getting my TRD ORP next week after waiting two months — can’t believe it’s actually happening. This will be my first 4Runner and my first Toyota, so I’m pretty pumped.
For my fellow Canadians: what accessories or must‑have items did you add in the first month of ownership? Did any of you go for the extended warranty?
I’m in SK and planning to do PPF on the partial front plus ceramic coating right away. After a month or so, I’m thinking about adding the TRD skid plate.
March 14 when we put down our deposit so about 2 months.Congrats! Was it two months after you put the deposit down? Or two months after they let you know that the vehicle was in production?
Nice, the sales guy said 3-6 months, but probably expect July. So that tracks. Were you able to negotiate below MSRP or get any accessories tossed in? I only got front window tint tossed in, and maybe $300 less that surrounding GTA dealers with no dealer fee.March 14 when we put down our deposit so about 2 months.
Unfortunately we paid MSRP. Zero discount at all. They kept telling us high demand and there's wait list. We needed a car and been wanting a 4Runner, so we pulled the trigger.Nice, the sales guy said 3-6 months, but probably expect July. So that tracks. Haven't talked about it TBH. I didn't even step foot in that particular dealership. Did the deal over e-mail/phone. Its not the closest dealership to me, but they were willing to put quotes in writing and I detailed exactly what I wanted and no more. I'd only do extended warranty if there was a hell of a deal that included maintenance at a great price.Unfortunately we paid MSRP. Zero discount at all. Did you get any extended warranty? We haven't signed anything but they like us to buy ECP which i don't know if ill get it or not.
Where I live, on some local ads, I've seen 2025 models with like 10k km and a price tag higher than a new 2026 on the Toyota web site for the same model.Unfortunately we paid MSRP. Zero discount at all.
I’ve seen the same thing in the GTA. Demo examples listed for the website OTD price + tax and fees! Yeah I want a 4Runner, but I’m able to wait for a new one for less money than what they’re asking. Very few dealers in Southern Ontario seemed to be straightforward from those I contacted.Where I live, on some local ads, I've seen 2025 models with like 10k km and a price tag higher than a new 2026 on the Toyota web site for the same model.
No way of test driving one also. And the one they had in the show room was rattling like a tin can when closing the doors.
It's a weird way of doing business. Both, missus and I are disappointed of those selling practices.
