TRAILER STILL RECOGNIZED AFTER TOWING

My 26 TRD off road premium still thinks my trailer is attached after unhooking it. Some of the safety features are disabled because of this, and I can't figure out how to correct this. Any ideas?

I had this issue too. Go into your settings and turn trailer assist off if you still have it. Should fix the issue.

The dash usually prompts me that the trailer is no longer attached and prompts to turn off the trailer features.

I had to go into the settings and unselect the trailer and it cleared it up.

That was the solution. I just wasn't hitting OK.
