Tow Tech Package - How to Add

Hi, I recently got a TRD Off Road Premium. We have a small business and there is a lot of stuff to haul. Does anyone know if the tow tech package is something that can get added? It seems like it must be added during production. Does anyone have any advice?

Not possible unfortunately. For example, if you don't get the Tow Tech Package, your 4Runner didn't come with the harness for plugging in a trailer brake controller. And even dealerships can't retrofit install the OEM harness. So if you don't get the Tow Tech Package your only option will be an aftermarket trailer brake controller.

So the next best thing you can do is install various aftermarket parts that will give you the functionality of things that come with the Tow Tech Package (trailer brake controller, digital rear view mirror, sonar sensors in bumper, etc.).
