The seat size /shapes are the same in the Trailhunter and TRD Pro no? Just different looks I thought.

Maybe @eddie s is thinking of the seats in the Tacoma TRD Pro -- these Isodynamic Performance Seats with shocks? These aren't available for the 2025 4Runner TRD Pro.

I understand the snorkel for the trailhunter is not for crossing waterways but since it is an overlanding spec, it is to provide cleaner air to the engine.
The looks seem overly pretentious and the sound will become annoying after the novelty has worn off. But that is just me. This may well be the very thing many find attractive about the Trailhunter trim.
@Zaki is right about the Trailhunter snorkel. I just wrote up this explanation hope it helps members who think its purpose is deep water wading.

"Snorkel" on Trailhunter = raised air intake for dust prevention, not deep water wading

how could one with a 911 turbo ever say turbo noises "become annoying"? They almost make as many smiles per gallon than boats do!

The 4Runner TRD Pro does not have the silly isodynamic seats that are in the Tacoma TRD Pro.

Not turbo noise, rather the Air sucking intake whoosh from the snorkel at the passenger A pillar.
Turbo noise is a whistling sound at the exhaust end and not the intake. My 911 Turbo with the sport exhaust pretty much eliminates the turbo whistle and all you hear is a glorious angry roar which is remarkable for a turbo.

I bought the TRD pro and I love it but damn do I want the snorkel the Trailhunter has on it. I went to the parts counter when my license plate came in asking to buy one but the parts guys seemed wholly uninterested in helping. One guy didn’t even know the 4Runner had a snorkel and the other wouldn’t help because I didn’t have a trailhunter vin so he couldn’t find the part. He also tried explaining to me that I’d have to take it to a shop to have it installed because it needs a hole cut into it…. ? dude, I know how a snorkel works. Thanks.
guess I’ll have to try the other Toyota dealership in town.

The turbo spool and blowoff valve purging sounds sound cool to me, but add in the snorkel sounds and it might be too much to hear upon every acceleration?

Maybe the Trailhunter snorkel come with a cap / cover that you can block the snorkel inlet with... or the aftermarket will offer something
It's NOT a real Snorkel,
Toyota says it's to allow the engine to breathe cleaner air.

My two drachmas: I love the look of the "snorkel" on my Trailhunter. I like that it keeps the air intake out of some of the dust I regularly encounter on Arizona dirt roads. I don't love the noise. It keeps me from having the passenger window down.

It would appear that the TRD Pro models use a different air intake. I would pay money for someone to come up with a user-settable diverter so that I could flip it to snorkel mode when I'm in the back country and quiet mode when I tooling around town.
