Redline Tuning Gas Struts to Replace Hood Prop Rod

I recently had a KC power plate added to my engine bay. It’s wired to the starter battery in the rear of my hybrid 4Runner TRD PRO. Problem is, placement of the power plate was right under where the hood prop rod crossed over. It was a problem. So, pulled the rod and replacing it with gas struts from Redline Tuning. Added a video showing installation.
