Hello all,
I just noticed on my Sport Premium there is a suspicious hole on the inner bottom side of the life gate...almost as if a rubber drain plug should be. See attached photo.
It's in the very center just above a large plug. I'm wondering why it isn't plugged & what stops bugs/insects & dust from entering into the inside of the lift gate where wiring & mechanicals for the lift gate window are located.
In the
&
corner of the bottom lift gate there are small drain plugs in place in what appear to be the same size holes as the center hole that is open.
I went to a parts department & they couldn't find the diagram or part number for a potential plug.
Would y'all look at your 4Runners & let me know if y'all have the same or if there is a small plug in the middle?
Thanks!
