Mine was just delivered today 5/7. Long Island. TRD ORP Hybrid. Came off the ship that arrived in Newark and had the original estimated delivery range of 4/26 - 5/16.

A few weeks ago, I added my 4Runner VIN in the Toyota app, and was able to see that the vehicle had some error codes that had to do with the safety sensors. (I assume they disable some features for transport purposes.) So if you're hellbent on trying to track your delivery and don't have access to the dealer tracking tool, and have already looked at the allocation spreadsheet, add your 4Runner to the Toyota app and keep an eye out for vehicle error codes that pop up. A day after I saw the safety error codes pop up, my dealership contacted me the next day saying it was on the way.

Also to give anyone an idea of how long it took from allocation to delivery:

-Allocation placed 2/14

-Build started 3/18

-Ship departed from Japan 3/25

-Ship landed in the US (East Coast) 4/23

-Delivered 5/7

We have had ours for 2 weeks. The Mountain West dealerships received 2 allocations but haven't seen new Hybrid allocations released since the end of March. Maybe they will stop making the Hybrid Tacoma's and ramp up the 4runners??

How were you able to add the VIN to the Toyota app? I downloaded it and it asks for an 8-digit code or scan a QR code from the vehicle’s screen to add the vehicle?
