Hitch winch?

Hi everyone,

just picked up a TRD Premium and want a winch for recovery when things go wrong on the trail. Would a hitch winch work as a cheap and portable alternative?

That’s not a bad idea. I looked for one but couldn’t find one that I really liked that was portable enough. i bought the setup from Rago Fabrication, and the bumper arrives tomorrow. I’m not too handy at installing this kind of stuff on my own, so it will probably be a few weeks before I get it installed and provide pictures.
