You can adjust your liftgate height / open position:

1. Manually adjust the liftgate to the height position you want it to stop at (may require some effort)
2. Press and hold the liftgate close button until it beeps twice (2x).
3. Close the liftgate using the close button.
4. Open the liftgate using the button inside the cabin (it should now open to the new desired height)

Thanks for the directions. It took me a while to figure that one out.
I had to set it lower so it would not hit the garage door. I wish it had a way to have a memory when needed and also open all the way when not....
