The way the preload collar is designed, to my understanding you don't need to change the bump stops cause your not pushing the entire coil-over down and adding length to it for the lift like a spacer lift does.
Thank you! I already had it out west (I'm in IL.) camping, we drove to Nebraska...
Also I have a panhard bar correction bracket, and rear extended brake lines (which were unnecessary), the 6th gen comes with enough for full articulation.
As for the ride, you can speculate, I drive it and can tell you the quality is much better.
Absolutely not, preload collar is exactly how all your major shock companies get lift out of their shocks. Take Bilstein shocks for example, how do you adjust the lift? You set the clip higher and preload the spring. This is nothing like a spacer lift....
No trimming at all, at the moment I didn't even remove the "crash bar"... I'll remove them this weekend, so far they're not even rubbing them.
Gas mileage is hanging around 15.5.
Finally finished the Westcott front preload collar lift, OME rear spring, and 35x12.5x18 Baja Boss AT tires.
Very surprised how well this rides compared to my 5th gen, even with the D-rated tires, it's very smooth.

Nice, do you get any poke with that size? I'm trying to get a sense with the TH flares if the tire would poke or be pretty even with the TH flares given their a little wider... Thx
Hi everyone,
Been lurking for a minute, I just picked up a 2025 Trailhunter in IceCap.
I'm looking for some specific pictures, I purchased Westcott preload collar kit and I plan to purchase RRW RR7, 17x8.5 +25 and plan to add 315/70/17 Territory MTs. I can't seem to find many pictures of that...
