I'm actually a little salty over how MUCH nicer the Passport's interior is than the 4Runner's, but that's really the only issue that would push me toward buying the Honda - IF I was only worried about driving fire roads from time to time.

It's very good, but not PERFECT. You definitely don't notice though. The scoop itself only comes painted gloss black, but I had them do it in matte for me.

Only because I enjoy the look of it every day as opposed to the humdrum stock hood, I have to say my hood swap. I DO have the COBB tuner with CAMTuning tweaks yet to install, though, so that might soon edge it out.

I'm considering it, too, because I'm planning on installing hood struts, and they already have a bracket that mounts at the hinge location. I'm afraid of making a bracket sandwich with a bunch of mounts piled up.

Just wanted to confirm that there's now interference with the windshield wiper either?

So... it's after Easter. What happened? For the record, I find the brakes on my 4Runner pretty lackluster too.

Well, I went the route that the gentleman above recommended. I'm close to Utah, so can drive up and have the hood installed there without shipping. It's only costing me $2,140.00 (I'm having the scoop painted matte black as well) plus $150 in labor. I wonder if you could have a local Toyota...

Maybe.. but I'm a paint purist. LOL

Thank you. I have seen that one and IMO it looks a little TOO fakey for my taste. I'll just bite the bullet and pay for the real deal.

Yeah, I'll skip the carbon fiber (I'm not THAT cool...), but will instead seek out the OEM/paint match route.
