Does anyone have an update on the OEM power running boards for the 2025+ 4Runners? The fixed are at an odd height (for my wife and I) and I'd prefer to swap them out for the powered, if possible.
I also have the NOCO GB40, and it is compatible with the hybrid 4Runner. As an FYI, I had a maintenance guy at our house who showed up in his dilapidated, piece of cr*p pick up, parked in our driveway, and when he went to leave (for lunch), it was dead. I pulled out the NOCO and it fired it...
I also recently did it on my four month old 2026 Platinum. Used Safelite and everything went well. I went through my insurance and the total cost including deductible was about $1500.
I bought the same off eBay and just installed. I'm not mechanically inclined AT ALL, but that was the easiest upgrade I've ever done! Gonna drive around honking at everyone now!!
Has anyone been able to determine whether this only applies to a certain trim level, certain wheel size, etc. Just seems so odd that so many have it but others, myself included (so far.....), have no issue.
Do any of you guys with squeaking brakes have a hybrid? Just curious, as I THOUGHT hybrids would do regenerative braking and not touch the actual rotors when backing out slowly from the garage. I've only got 1100 miles on my 26 Platinum, but so far, so good. Keep us posted.
