Looking at the 2026 build options for 4Runners I’d say the liftgate lights are only available on trims with power liftgates. Some trims with power liftgates don’t have the option but that may just be a decision by Toyota rather than a technical or hardware limitation.

I wish I had gotten them on my limited along with the tow-tech package. If at some point you could take a picture of them I’d appreciate it.

Hello! Does anyone have any better pictures of what the LED liftgate lights (NOT the optional D-pillar cargo lights) on the hatch look like? I can’t find any close-up pictures, part numbers, or really any info on if they could be added after the fact.
