  1. I test drove an SR5 and Limited, and preferred the SR5

It's pretty funny how the SR5 probably has the best ride out of the 4runner trims- save for maybe the Trail Hunter with the old man emu's. Even the ride on my ORP is pretty crap, it bounces around everywhere, but seems to be softening after 1k miles (or I'm just getting numb to it). But the...
  2. Seat Jackers Review - Change seat angle to improve long distance comfort

I just installed my seat jackers today! Like you said, the install is extremely easy. I never quite felt that the seat in my ORP was uncomfortable, but I knew these would help take pressure off my bottom and lower back. Even with the power seats and their extra adjustability, the front section...
  3. 2025 4Runner SR5 (stock) on 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT4W - thoughts / impressions

Looks great!! Cutting edge keeps growing on me..
  4. Crumbs / dirt in Softex seat perforations?

Ok I’ll have to try that then! Need to invest in a solid handheld vac anyway. Thanks
  5. Crumbs / dirt in Softex seat perforations?

The issue is that they get stuck in the holes. Vacuum wont do the trick unfortunately.
  6. Crumbs / dirt in Softex seat perforations?

Enjoying my new TRD ORP. However one of my biggest gripes so far is that any crumbs, pieces of sand, dirt, etc. get stuck so easily in the perforations. The holes are too big. It is mildly infuriating. And I thought the softex would be easier to keep clean than the cloth.. Has anyone found...
  7. Garmin Mini 3 Dashcam install

Thanks OP for the writeup. I went ahead and ordered the same wiring harness and it works great. Also have a Garmin mini. I wanted to reiterate the point of the large panel behind the rearview mirror being a challenge. I pulled it the wrong way and snapped off this plastic piece. I did not...
  8. Help deciding trim...

All right guys, appreciate all of the help and suggestions. I ended up taking delivery of a TRD Off Road Premium! Non-hybrid model. I found a deal where it ended up being a much smaller gap in price than I had originally thought compared to the SR5. That made it a no-brainer. Initial thoughts-...
  9. Help deciding trim...

Ok guys, if I wasn't already indecisive enough. Now things are worse... So today I figured I would at least drive the hybrid model just to do my due diligence. I'm glad I did. I've seen some people say it's a huge difference over the gas only model. For me it definitely felt like it had more...
  10. Help deciding trim...

We have dogs as well. This is part of the reason we are shying away from the hybrid because of the higher load floor (harder to get dogs in and out). Curious if this has been an issue at all? With the additional $2k bonus cash on Off Road Hybrids for southeast (non-premium) it's a bit tempting.
  11. Help deciding trim...

That's great to hear. I am in the south so I really shouldn't be complaining about heated seats, I'll use them a few days out of the year. As for the cloth, it felt really high quality on the SR5. And I went with black fabric to mitigate mishaps with spills and staining. I will also say that I...
  12. Help deciding trim...

That's actually a great chart. Even the LC comparison as well. Another thing that always pops into my head, with some trims spending close to $60k, you could just get an LC. Or hey, at that point get a base GX for only a few thousand more! I really didn't realize the SR5 had such a small price...
  13. Help deciding trim...

Hey guys. Currently in the market for a new 6th gen. Test drove an SR5 recently and was shocked by how well it drove. Felt very punchy and athletic with nice steering. Great size, ample cargo room (non-hybrid), surprisingly comfortable seats, sliding rear window, off-road capability, decent mpg...
