I drive two plus hours a day and the stock sound was probably a 4.5/10 for sound quality and volume. This changed it to a 8.5/10 in my opinion.

I noticed a big difference in sound quality. That was just as shocking for me as the volume upgrade.

I agree. I couldn’t believe how quiet the stock system was. Install took 15 min and made a world of difference!

keep us posted. If yours has low oil, so do others. I wonder if that might be the cause of the hard shifts when the car sits for lots of us.

I'm at 2000 miles and mine does the same thing. First take off after sitting the gear changes are hard. I'm curious if we could fix this or the dealer can.

I'm curious if we could add a theromstat and how much of a difference it would make.

How would we check if we have a theromstat? Also, once someone with a thermostat confirms they experience overheating, does that make the whole thing not relative?

Loving my SR5! Peak suspension 2” in front and 1” rear. With TRD pro wheels, tires and fenders.

The Beatsonic amp has made a WORLD of difference in my non jbl 4Runner. I’ve heard it’s the same with the JBl system though. Raised volume by at least 30-50 percent and made the music sound much better. I was hesitant at first but glad and super happy I did. Also install only took 15 minutes.

They are the oem TRD pro tires (Toyo AT3) and TRD pro wheels with the TRD pro caps.

Just a heads up after install rears work fine but the fronts are smaller than the oem and will leave a gap on the corners. Also the mount tabs don’t fit in the very front since they do not reach tab insert holes. I was able to zip tie the tabs into the bumper interior and you can trim the bottom...

There’s a video online showing the speed difference with a hybrid vs non hybrid. On take off the hybrid pulls away a little amount of if it’s a roll race or they’re already in motion, they are almost identical.

Correct I believe mine was made the 23rd or 26th I think.

Mine arrived at the Long Beach port a week ago or so. Was there for two days and shipped to phoenix.
