  1. Random Daily Photos of the Day Thread - Post Your 4Runner Pics! 📸

Thank you. It was a private sale, and we don't have plates for it yet. It's a Geo Pro 15TB, weighs 2,880 lbs, and comes with a solar panel. We towed it across town, about 12 miles with no issues. It towed well in that short distance, and barely felt like it was back there. It came with a RF...
  2. Towing in my 6th gen (16' foot Airstream trailer). What's your tow experience been?

Please report back on your towing experience after your return to home plate, and have a safe trip!
  3. New to Part-Time 4 Wheel Drive -- maintain by driving in 4WD for 10 miles each month?

Concur. That salesman may have been well intended, but is most likely providing bad information. While I've accidentally driven on asphalt with part-time, it wasn't very far, and I definitely wouldn't do 10 minutes, as binding could occur in the drive line. AI overview sourced from multiple...
  4. Floor Liners / Floor Mats Question - Brands

I just installed ours, and really like the pliability and fit. I had Weather tech in a previous Jeep and these appear to cover crevices more completely.
  5. Nitto Ridge Grappler or Falken WILDPEAK A/T4W

I have Wildpeaks on our Gladiator. They've worn like iron, and retain air pressure extremely well.
  6. 🌅 Show Us Your Sunset Moments – Let’s Chase the Sun Together! 🌞

El Paso around 2020. It was an odd looking sunset, so I took a happy snap.
  7. Why the hate for the TRD Sport?

    Sir, this is a Wendy's
  8. Rust in Engine Bay

It's silver, no rust. That bright orange on yours is similar to rust we would incur on weapons stored aboard ship, but placed in CONEX boxes on the flight deck. If left unmaintained for two weeks, the barrels would be orange with rust. It's unlikely it happened after you took delivery, and more...
  9. Rust in Engine Bay

I shot this on my 4Runner a few minutes ago:
  10. Rust in Engine Bay

That looks like components exposed to salt water/air. It could have rusted enroute to the U.S. or sitting near the ocean. I would get underneath, inspect the rest of the vehicle, and discuss with your dealer if more corrosion is found.
  11. ICE CAP WHITE Photos 4Runner 6th Gen (2025+)

I initially planned to install Nomad wheels on my Gladiator, but instead they're going on my 6Gen at some point this year. They just look great on your 4Runner.
  12. ICE CAP WHITE Photos 4Runner 6th Gen (2025+)

Took the 4Runner into the Lincoln NF today.
  13. ICE CAP WHITE Photos 4Runner 6th Gen (2025+)

I really like the SR5 wheels. The larger tires look more proportional than the OEM ones.
  14. '25 4Runner versus '25 Wrangler for long roadtrips and offroading

I'll try to keep this simple. I think you've thoroughly thought about your needs. It appears to come down to your off road vs street use and what % of each you choose to perform. I've been to Moab with both Jeeps and Toyotas. Different tools for different capabilities. BLUF: I'd keep the TJ...
