Thanks and glad you found the video helpful! It was awesome and yes, the trailer has been everything we expected and more. Absolutely love it! If you’re in the market for a trailer, definitely check out Arkto. The build quality, options, the whole package is so good! Thanks again!
35 was real but only for the first 1/4 of the tank from Mizzoula to Glacier NP. Average was 21 without trailer and 15 with.
the is without the trailer. With trailer, all I see is the trailer’s diamond plate. I got one of thise cheap wireless cameras that I stuck to the back of the trailer...
We took our Mudbath TRD Pro on a 3700 mile roadtrip. How did it do? How is the 4Runner on a roadtrip? We are headed to Canada to pick up our new Overland trailer. Video directly below. Let me know if you have any questions.
For the compressor I installed a single brushless. So far so good for airing up all 4 at once. Also air up trailer tires.
I also have Mudbath Pro. Here is my install video for the compressor if you’re interested.
Hi. We have 3600 miles on our TRD Pro now. We have been getting amazing gas milage on a 1500 mile roadtrip so far. Averaging 21-24 mpg with a fully loaded rig, so much so that the rear was sagging 1.5” and Inhad to inflate my rear Airlift 1000 airbags to level her.
Before this road trip, I...
Your diagram is really complicated. Is there a reason for complicating it or do you simply want a switch to run the lights when the Ignition is on?
if so, (assuming proper wire guage) run the positive from the lights to the aux pigtail positive wire for the switch you want. Run the ground to...
Thanks! Good luck on your install! I love doing this stuff with my wife so glad to hear you and wife doing the same! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Take care!
Thanks! It comes with a fraaday bag that you can put your key in. Right now I have my extra key with battery out of the key and in the fraday bag and in some padding and in there. We’ll see how it does in there fulltime.
Hi all. Here is our YT video of our build so far. Also my thoughts and why we chose a TRD Pro over other trims. Let me know if you have any questions. We are almost at 1000 subs!! Would appreciate a sub if so inclined!
I got the major services up to 75K miles plan. Seemed like a good idea. I like that I can take to the dealer for every scheduled service (including all the major services) up to the 75K mile one and its all prepaid. And the records for everything service related will be in the dealer computer.
Thanks! The rivnut install was hard the way I did it. Waiting for the M12 bit for my tool would have been the way. But Im a dumbass and like to do things the hard way! Lol.
Although I will say that the nylocks were also a pain in the ass. Good luck on your install!
Hi all. I just uploaded my install video for Westcott Designs Rock Sliders. Westcott doesnt have install instructions or video so I was doing this blind.
Hopefully this video will help those of you considering this.
In theory its a very simple install. Only 8 fasteners per side. But the...

I just ordered 3 of them for my overland trailer. They had plenty of stock. It was Elmhurst Toyota. My dealer had an issue getting them as inly 2 were in stock at their distributor and he wasnt sure when a third could be got.
Here is a pic of my spare that came on my 2025 trd pro. And that is...
