I came across this thread researching which skid plate I wanted and am coming back to share the current Toyota sale going on because it's a heck of a deal:
20% off until 8/10 if you are logged in
SOME dealers are offering dealer discounts on top of that
I was originally in GA and just moved to...
Oh interesting! I’ll have to test and see if it’s the same without the filter (or find a high flow filter somehow)
Truth but I’m about to move to Colorado so mountain weather should help!
Along with a handful of things already mentioned, I’ve felt like the air conditioner is lack luster since I bought the car.
I guess it does a decent job bringing the overall temperature down and the air at the vent is cold but I have to have it full blast to feel it blowing on my face...
Did you ever figure out if this was the correct size?
Am new to CO and even though I have 3peak tires to be legal would like them as an extra precaution in the car so am planning on ordering soon and would love to confirm!
I originally wanted the sunroof, always love them and honestly wish the 4Runner had a larger panoramic one.
BUT once I sat in it I felt cramped. I’m not terribly tall (6’1”) but I sit pretty upright and my hat was brushing the ceiling. Also since the back seats are elevated, anyone tall...
Looks fantastic! I love the look of the painted ones so much better…but I have already brushed up against and scraped the plastic ones so I’m scared to pull the trigger
I haven’t bought yet so appreciate everyone’s suggestions. I’ve been tempted by Greenlane Offroad’s ones because they are aluminum. Not much cost savings off the Westcott ones, but the lighter weight intrigues me.
They don’t advise using them as jack points but say they do support the weight...
Thankfully have not had anything happen since, working perfectly and I just crossed 5k miles!
sorry you had that happen, I know it’s a terrible feeling but hoping yours turns out the same
@NYTOP looks great overall! Those two yellow light bars in the lower grille caught my eye, I've been trying to figure out how to mount some like that. Do you have suggestions or perhaps a kit/bracket that you used?
Hey thanks for asking, I got someone who offered the full 200 on FB Marketplace but am waiting to hear back when they can meet up.
If I don't hear back in the next couple days or they bail I'll post back and let you know to see if you're still interested and figure out a price
Personally have the OEM camera because it was the one olive branch I gave the dealer when negotiating new, and I knew I wanted some sort of dashcam so figured I'd give it a shot. It does the job, I do like it's placement and design and I honestly never notice or think about it.
That being said...
Really curious if anyone has done this? I was just looking up the parts and it seems there might actually be 4 needed:
I haven't called the dealership yet, but the descriptions on each part are:
- #PT949-89240-AB ($697.10) - "4RUN COMPRESSOR ON BOARD"
- #PT949-35240-AC ($6.41) - "TIRE INFLATOR...
I have a pair of the OEM roof cross bars that came on my Off Road Premium, I’ve added a different roof rack so simply don’t need these anymore. They were on the car for just under 3k miles and never had anything mounted or put on top of them so they still look new. Honestly was impressed with...
Looks great and thanks for the part numbers!
Would also love to hear if anyone has done this on an ORP, curious if it is pre-wired behind the blank on the dash
Definitely, this is where I saw it, and they have different categories at the top:

If you want to order any you have to do it through the Toyota Parts site or a dealership parts dept though.
I was browsing the accessories site yesterday and saw this, actually think they look pretty sweet on the “fangs” of the hood. This wasn’t an option when I got mine in Aug so seems brand new:
