I’ll remove the light bar to see if that fixes the issue, hadn’t thought of that. Definitely not the sunglasses though since it sounds like stiff steel vibrating. The capture plates are good to since all the feet for the rack are holding solid to the roof and that’s what they screw in to.
Recently installed a Sherpa full length roof rack and ever since I’ve been getting a weird vibration rattle in the roof when I go over rough road. I’ve banged on the rack itself and it’s completely solid, no loose bolts and no point where it sounds like it would vibrate so I’m confident it’s...
Picked my Sherpa up during Black Friday. Was shipped pretty quickly and install was relatively straight forward. I’m glad I went with Sherpa, in my opinion it’s worth the extra couple hundred bucks knowing you’re getting a quality rack that will last the lifetime of the truck.
I feel like...
I think it’s the quality of aluminum they’re using for different brackets on the vehicle. The window on the drivers side had issues because of where the aluminum contacts and I believe this also has to do with the aluminum tracks being used for the sun roof. Either they’re not heavy enough to...
just started noticing this in my TRD PRO. It started after I installed a full roof rack but I’m confident it’s the sunroof track rattling. Ever figure out a fix?
I may be wrong but right next to the fuse box there seems to be threaded holes and the perfect amount t of space for a compressor. Seems as if they intentionally left that space free so folks could mount one of they wanted too.
shipping protection is such a joke. All carriers offer insurance, it’s part of the shipping fee but these aftermarket insurance options are just so the companies don’t have to worry about file a claim or replacing your order. It’s like the new way to suck more money from customers and place any...
Since installing my full rack, the Sirius XM signal isnt great and I’m looking for a way to relocate the antenna to mount on the roof rack some how. I’ve seen a couple but not really sure how it works in place of the shark fin. Does the shark fin get relocated and if so what covers that hole? Or...
I know you guys don’t offer sales very often but 15% off isn’t enticing enough to get me to buy this over the 30-50% off items I’m looking at for Black Friday. Full price the exhaust is a good deal but if you had the exhaust in the $800s-$900s I might have been convinced to choose this over a RTT.
Impressed with the sound. Even more impressed with the price. AWE can be borderline too expensive depending on the platform, especially when you start adding remote control flaps but this system is pretty competitively priced for the Toyota crowd. Well done, AWE. May be picking one of these up...
$350 per light is crazy expensive for an SAE light. You can get much higher output lights for half that price. This seems like a really expensive mod just for the ability to turn your current fogs yellow..
