Ceramic coatings don't do anything for scratch prevention, so I wouldn't focus on that aspect as the reason for scratches. They are literally just a few atoms thick, not going to make any difference when it comes to that kind of protection.

Just a follow up in case anyone reads this in the future, the issue was not related to the brake TSB. That has been completed and I still have this chirping noise.
I've been dealing with this since day 1 on my ORP, definitely frustrating. For me it happens once I get above 20MPH or so, and is more pronounce the warmer out it is. Dealer said they couldn't hear it the two times I took it in, which is frustrating as once you hear it it's hard to NOT hear...
FWIW I ended up getting the Orvis one and I’m completely happy with it. Holding up very well to some decent abuse, and my dog loved the front vent material when the AC is needed.
I made a ramp for my dog to get into the back seat, none of the pre-made ones I found really fit well or the dog shied away from. This works perfect, and I can just slide it behind the front seats when not in use. Like others here, I prefer my dog harnessed in the back seat with his dog...
On some builds they pipe fake engine noise over the speakers in Sport Mode. You can disable it with Carista though.
Personally I always drive in sport mode, not because it’s faster but because it gives you better throttle response. I actually get better gas mileage in Sport mode over normal...
