Forgot to say that if you have power folding steps you will want to turn those off. I’m not sure if they stop when they hit something solid but I wouldn’t want to find out that they don’t while under them.
Because I can’t confirm 100% I’d recommend checking under your 4Runner to make sure the 2 unused nut welds are present before ordering. I wish I had access to other trims to make sure but unfortunately I don’t.
I’m pretty sure this is for both the hybrid and non-hybrid but I have only installed it in my hybrid limited so I can’t 100% confirm, unfortunately.
I had the OEM transfer case skid plate, OEM differential skid plate, and OEM Land Cruiser front skid plate installed prior to installing the gas...
Sure!
1. I did my swap on a stock configuration with no lift and without jacking it up. It’s a tight squeeze but it is possible.

I ordered the same light from an Amazon duplicate store. They don’t have instructions but if you follow the cartrimhome YouTube channel video for the rav4 light it’s the same procedure. The light is definitely more blue than the pillar and non-pio cargo light but they do provide a lot of light...
Looking at the 2026 build options for 4Runners I’d say the liftgate lights are only available on trims with power liftgates. Some trims with power liftgates don’t have the option but that may just be a decision by Toyota rather than a technical or hardware limitation.
Hello!
