So what I'm getting from all of this is that I either do not air down my tires OR if I air down my tires, I better have a sidewall patch OR I should just buy 4 new tires.

YES! And also in the grooves of the door. I keep forgetting to stand to the side when I open the door, and I get drenched in the face with rainwater. Anyone know how to resolve that little issue?
I hiked the Washington portion of the PCT last year, and took two 0 days in Wenatchee. Heading out west next year in my 4runner perhaps I'll make a trip up that way. Looks like fun!
In Virginia, because my husband is a 100% disabled military vet, we are exempt from this tax on one vehicle. They charge us every six months and the last bill that came in for three cars, (all over 10 years) was around $260.
In mid April, we financed the minimum amount thru TFS so we could get the $750 military rebate, I think the % was around 4.6, but we paid it off within a couple days.
