That's a helpful thread, Nodak. Good options for modifying the key fob, if needed.
The manual does clearly state that techStream will be able to roll the windows down with the key fob. That's good. No clarity on customizable options for the power rear door though,.
It's not a hybrid. Odyssey didn't have any listings for the 2025, but I've sent them a request. I've scoured the manual and it did mention LN4 which is a different size. It wasn't clear if that was for gas or hybrid vehicles.
I have a 1 year old Odyssey battery in my 2014 Trail Edition Premium that I'm trading in for a 2025 ORP. Is the 6th gen using the same size battery? If so, I'll probably pull out the expensive Odyssey and run it on the new vehicle.

I'm not exactly sure how it would apply to this scenario, but I don't plan to use it. Digital key has a subscription cost associated with it. It also appears to require data connection which many of us might not have in the wilderness. I recall reading that if the digital key isn't used within a...
I looked up the company you shared. They have one for the 5th gen that shows some unique mounting hooks between the headliner and pillars. Something like this will most likely be the solution for the 6th gen.
In the install video, it's a bit of a process. They're drilling holes for the mounting...
The hook you show is the only mounting point in the back and aligns with the rear mounting point on the 5th gen. What's missing is the same type of mount (or handle) near the 2nd row seats. It needs 4 mounting points.
I've added your image with some additional markup. The red X is the missing...
I've been using a Blue Ridge Overland gear attic (link here) for years on my 5th gen. It's the best! I can't imagine not having something like that installed for my daily use. Perfect for stashing jackets, bike helmets, sleeping pads, etc.
On the 6th gen, I was disappointed to see that Toyota...
This is very helpful. On my 5th gen, I fully removed the rear seat and built a replacement platform and hinged seat back with storage pods. It's opened up the vehicle to allow so much extra storage space. Now that I have a 6th gen on order, I'm having seconds thoughts due to how small all the...
Thanks for the quick replies. I read through the user manual in detail last night. On page 642, it has some options for the wireless remote control. It appears you can turn off the panic mode. For the power lift gate, it's not entirely clear if can be disabled. It shows the default setting as...
Power lift gate questions for current 6th gen Premium owners:
I have an Off-road Premium on hold to replace my 2014 5th gen. I run a 1up bike rack installed 24/7 with bikes loaded most of the time. The power lift gate creates concerns. I'm trying to figure out the best approach to prevent...
