Yes, it's smart looking. Looks good with the Boulder color seats, unfortunately still with all the all black ceiling - my wife and I (our current 4R is her daily driver) are not into the current vogue of black interiors.
Think I read somewhere no such deliveries until end of Feb/ beginning of March, and that may be production dates. Therefore, with dealers will depend on your location for shipping and road transport times.
Hmmm, From the article.
This reviewer wasn't so keen on engine sound either, for sure If I could afford the Lexus GX Premium 6 with hybrid would be my preference. In other reviews, the Limited iForce max was considered fairly quiet but must have the moon roof and therefore the lost internal...
Thanks, it's an interesting list.
I quickly scanned most of the reviews to look for comments about road performance, particularly noise. There were very few comments on that - mostly folks doing off road stuff, that's fair, a lot of owners love to do that, however not all of us. Living on the...
1. Lease expiring, but very concerned about the noise of the 4 banger compared to the 6 on our 2022 TRD Sport, so may just buy lease out. First year models are for the brave and modders!
2. Would like a Hybrid.
3. Like the new styling - but not the overwhelming choice of Black interiors.
4...
Those are the color schemes we would like for a TRD Sport -Premium. Very nice!
It looks as if the roof lining is black rather than grey - is that the case?
Would love to learn your opinion of engine noise in the cab.
I was chatting with my T dealer yesterday about our desire for a 4R TRD Sport - Premium but it had to be without sunroof for various reasons, not least the loss of headroom. He said most of the early deliveries were coming with this option included as does the limited and we may struggle to...
Wow underpowered - didn't feel that way to me.
I agree about the GX550 - it's just the $$$. We shouldn't need to pay so much just to get decent sound protection from the 4 banger and interior color options. Toyota has dropped the ball here IMHO.
At last -Thanks.
Have been waiting to see what the Boulder /Black interior may look like with 4R Sport Premium.
We hate all black that so many others seem to like, or accept from dealers.
Totally agree you need to drive it. We drove the LC 1958 today and Tacoma previously.
Tacoma TRD Sport and LC 1958 have excessive engine noise! LC with Hybrid has superb power and driving stability.
Hopefully TRD Sport Premium (no sunroof for us also) will have superior hood and firewall...
I can understand that. We just test drove the 1958.
Loved the engine power and fulltime 4WD, for us, the engine and general noise was too much compared to our 2022 4R . Not sure what you can do about the firewall noise, but the hood insulation kits might be of interest to you.
Enjoy the power...
Hopefully this doesn't sound like a Rant - I'm trying to be helpful to those intending to purchase the first deliveries. Up front we are retired, love powerful cars but prefer a wolf in sheep's clothing, so as not to attract the attention of the boys and girls in blue.
My wife drives our 2022...
Not sure of your Sub 3.6R year, we had one and loved it as well. However, the Subaru AWD (at least the year I had) was mechanical fulltime AWD - they call it Symmetrical All-Wheel that it the same concept as Toyota Full time 4WD. My BMW 330Xi was the same, full time 4WD. Now the 3.6R has CVT...
I can understand your desire to get a new 4R and that you are prepared to go where you need to get the exact model you want. We Live in NJ but purchased in NY for that reason ... it was a pain in the A.. because of NJ DMV but didn't cost any more. A previous vehicle we purchased in CT, no...
