My wife and I were planning to do the wind River high route (skurka) in July this year, but instead we got lucky and will have a baby in October instead. Sounds like we’ll have to wait until the baby can carry his own weight lol.
I have a 60% related question, has anyone found exterior Molle panels that are made to attach to the stock ARB roof rack that comes with the trail hunter? I have found “universal” ones but all the others are made to attach to that company’s roof rack, Gobo, Cali, prinsu, etc all attach to...
Finally got around to giving the trail hunter a good wash after our adventure. Had light pinstripes from some of the trails but not anything too bad, however did find some decent damage to the rim. Not sure when that happened. You can also see where it rubbed the tire sidewall too.
I noticed several dings and scratches pretty quickly after we bought the 4Runner. Seems like the paint is pretty soft. PPF might be worth the investment if you’re planning on keeping resale value on the paint.
Great picture on the ledge! That looks like a fun trip. I’ve been wanting to do some hiking in Cascades (but I live in GA). Maybe a road trip is in order!
We took the 4Runner on the first real trip over the holiday weekend. We did a major section of the Georgia Traverse starting at Burrells Ford and ending in Blue Ridge GA. Addition to that we took some side trails, our favorite being up to the top of Chestnut Mountain via Steel Knob trail...
I agree the low gears seem a little bumpy. Interesting comment about the Eco mode because initially I didn’t notice it and I spent the first week or is in Eco, then swapped to normal mode. I’m gonna throw it back to eco and see if it helps. I’m mostly driving back roads at 60mph anyways with...
I’m just up the road outside of Savannah. I’ve also been a ford owner most of my life, I’ll be selling my 2002 F350 with the legendary 7.3L since spoiling myself with the 4Runner. I also had a 91 Ford Explorer, an 85 F150, and an 69 mustang. Always like Toyotas. My first car was a 89 Toyota...
Wow the Everest and the bronze wheels
Looks really good. Crap, now I need a paint job already. Just kidding, still broke from the initial purchase haha.
Yeah I was a little skeptical especially since there was a whole portion of the contract about You Owe, We Owe. And we even asked during the test drive about the speaker. I’m glad it didn’t turn into something more than a slight delay
I had the same experience. We came in around noon and didn’t leave until 7pm so the parts department was already closed and they forgot to grab the speaker. Our dealer just mailed it to us, three days later it arrived.
