  3. Toyota OEM Rear Recovery Hook (Part number # PT974-89251-03 and PT974-89251-AA)

I don't have any name brands that I use, because they are too expensive. But, I do make sure I get one that is an inch at the minimum wide by thirty feet. Anything shorter or thinner is better for mid size SUVs.
  4. Electrical plug, how to unplug? Thanks in advance.

This is under the dash of the 25 4Runner SR5. There are two plugs just parked, and I am trying to unplug the white one, but I can't figure out how to do it. Any help would be much appreciated.
  5. Heritage Grille Letters Color Swap - Black to Bronze (pro tip: just pop off black letter caps)

I'm thinking of painting my red recovery points bronze to match the grille letters.
  6. Toyota OEM Rear Recovery Hook (Part number # PT974-89251-03 and PT974-89251-AA)

This design by Toyota will likely save you from frame damage, as the others stick out further, and Toyota's design is tucked in.
  7. 2025 4Runner SR5 JBL Flex question

I own both a 25 4Runner SR5 made in Japan and a 25 Tacoma SR5 with a JBL Flex Speaker made in Mexico. I am trying to see if it is possible to add the Flex speaker to the 4Runner and provide power to the speaker for charging etc. Before all the snarky comments start, I am doing this for my...
  8. Wind deflector installation/position - Westcott, Prinsu, Sherpa

From experience with fairings of other makes, when they touch a roof, they will leave a line due to road grit, etc. The best thing to do is to treat that portion with ceramic or PPF before installation, so it can be repaired upon removal one day. Personally, I would take a line on the roof...
  9. Toyota OEM Rear Recovery Hook (Part number # PT974-89251-03 and PT974-89251-AA)

Just a quick note. The Toyota one, while tucked under the vehicle, is designed to protect the frame if rear ended. Nowhere to bolt one on the other side. Probably take a little fabrication and hitch plug relocation.
  10. Toyota OEM Rear Recovery Hook (Part number # PT974-89251-03 and PT974-89251-AA)

Looks great and very functional for a soft shackle. I wonder if they have a differently designed front recovery hook. I am specifically looking for one that sticks out further.
  11. SR5 Owners - What do you think?

I replaced my stock mirror with a Homelink from Toyota. I had to have that, but I do miss auto dimming. My solution is going to have dark tint added to the rear window. I hope that helps. As for heated seats in an SR5 they can be added.
  12. Westcott Level Lift (2.5" / 0.75") on SR5 4x4 - comparison side shots (before & after photos)

Maybe next time, the Tacoma does a 12 hour round trip to the coast once a month, so I was trying to be practical. LOL
  13. Squeaky suspension in negative temps?

I had this issue in Colorado in the winter on another vehicle. Mine were dried-out sway bar bushings, either from road deicer stuff or car wash, maybe both. Only in the winter, though.
  14. 6th gen horn belongs on a Fiat? OEM or aftermarket upgrade options?

Tried Hellas on another vehicle, Not as loud by design. The Toyota Premium horns are as loud or louder than my 21 Tundra horns.
  15. Westcott Level Lift (2.5" / 0.75") on SR5 4x4 - comparison side shots (before & after photos)

Sorry, for the late response. Correct, that size tire will not rub. I went with a less positive offset wheel so the tire would poke out of the fender a little more. My TRD Pro extra wide Toyota mudflaps protect the paint. I put the Stock 4Runner wheels on our 25 Tacoma with the exact same tires...
