  1. ICE CAP WHITE Photos 4Runner 6th Gen (2025+)

    Picked mine up yesterday!
  2. Fender Flare separation / gap issue (TRD Off-Road Premium)

I'll be looking for that when I pick mine up next week. I'll post the results.
  3. Will tariff on imported vehicles impact your 4Runner purchasing plans? [WARNING: NO POLITICS; JUST POLICIES TALK]

I don't believe the U.S. will press Japan too hard on tariffs. Unlike many of our other trading partners, Japan is a critical strategic partner in defense of a rapidly rising land and naval military power. They are part of the First Island Chain that hinders Chinese naval power from projecting...
  4. Highly considering trading our 2024 Jeep JLU 392 for a 6th Gen TRD PRO

I alternated between Jeeps (12) and Toyotas (19) since the early 80's. I would be ejecting on your JLU if I had the same level of problems as you report. This will be my fourth 4Runner (and probably last). While we haven't received our 6gen yet, I did test drive one last week, and signed a PO...
  5. Is it true there is no wiring for a brake controller in the SR5 4x4?

I suspect that the OEM plug for the Toyota tow package incorporates additional electronic inputs that a non-standard plug does not, leading Toyota to add this variant. The aftermarket will field something fairly quickly. IMO.
  6. 6th Gen Observations (vs. my 5th gen)

Here she is. Built by Winnebago. All fiberglass behind the cab. The rear seat folded down flat. The rear wall of the cab was cut away, creating an un-obstructed interior space. I bought it sometime in 1995 with about 130k miles.
  7. New to Part-Time 4 Wheel Drive -- maintain by driving in 4WD for 10 miles each month?

Absolutely agree with this. Part time needs some slippage that occurs on softer surfaces (dirt), although I have run part time on snowy roads. Dry pavement, nyet.
  8. 6th Gen Observations (vs. my 5th gen)

I test drove a 6gen SR5 4Runner today and was very impressed. The dealer added a 3"lift, TRD wheels, and larger tires. Quieter, much better power than a 5th gen, better seats, interior, etc. I plan on buying a lower end TRD mostly for the brake controller, locker and heated seats. My...
  9. Poll - What will you do with your 6th Gen 4Runner?

Same here. I live at the base of a National Forest, but have a Jeep for the rough stuff. We'll take ours down forest roads at most. We're planning a couple of long trips to the Oklahoma and the PNW.
  10. Another good reason to choose a 4Runner over Jeep Wrangler

I have a Gladiator, which was originally paired with a 5th gen 4Runner. The 4Runner was used for longer highway trips. We traded the 4Runner away for a Toyota Crown last year, and are now waiting for the 6th gen to arrive in volume. We plan to trade the Crown and keep the Jeep, which is built...
