the OEM snorkel does not allow you to submerge the engine
submerging an engine successfully and not doing damage
would require 4-5 grand of modifications
it works if you deviate but it is not ideal. ideal conditions have been worked out by engineers and if you have a regional specification it should be followed if you want
to try to get the most life out of your engine
and though some of this regional difference is programming, such as oil pump...
same. turn till gasket touches. then 1/2 - 3/4 more
over 12 vehicles owned since 1982, changing my own oil, not once
has a filter ever leaked using the 3/4 method, and only half the time I need a wrench to
get it off next time if I have good hand grip access (I'd say 50/50)
all trims camera rinse works by
(a) be in reverse
(b) activate rear window wash via push stalk forward
(c) Only some trims can activate wash via touch screen
so try it with lever only
if that won't work possibly clogged or blocked nozzle ?
does your 4runner fit these descriptions ?

the oil pump is variable
the oil is used as hydraulic fluid for actuating VVT
regions have different ECU programming for 0-20 where 0-20 is specified
programming is different where 5-30 is specified
imho use what your manual says to use
only been in one week of snow with it
and my SR5 behaved as my Tacoma or '99 4runner does,
so I didn't think of mode changes for any reason
all my vehicles have Michelin Defender LTX MS and all feel pretty
consistent in rain and snow
if/when it gets sloppy again I'll mess around with trac...
it's the tires and conditions and the nut behind the wheel.
my SR5 with it's tires (LTX MS2) is fine in 4wd in snow...
like anything else...find an open place with no one around,
get frisky with the throttle and find how it behaves in conditions, drive accordingly.
fwiw and just my opinion
little paint chips will only bother you, no one else will ever see them.
I'd rather see the normal front hood of a 4runner the way the designers
intended, than see a plastic deflector which looks like a freaking barnacle to me,
and I also know wherever that barnacle...
initially I was jonesing for amber drls on my SR5, but now I am getting real used
to the simplified look of the SR5 single projector with drl, low, high in one lens
I think it makes the front of the truck look tight w/o the extra lamp and
surround DRL (underground SR5 and I got black matte...
wow mine was the same description. got it one day before yours LOL
it fits nice and snug got no complaints with it
you might be able to return it or claim to amazon 'doesn't fit' and get refunded
and get a replacement
not pasting a link but if you put this in amazon search you'll find it
drivers air vent storage tray toyota tacoma
you want the 13.99 one, not the 12 dollar one
and for the space on the right of the steering wheel...
what is perfect for that is a swiffer, and the swiffer is
perfect for quick...
stuff happens in extreme cold. my '99 4runner brakes -do not work- at
all below -10 degrees for the first push. I need to pump brake at least
once then they work fine. and only below -10, above -10 they are fine.
I once rented a car in MPLS for three days to get some work done
and it was -18...
trinkets ? you want trinkets ?
imho
what you are missing.... is the little tray
that can be slid in here and holds stuff
can be had on crapazon for 14 bux
or walmart will sell the exact same one for 38 bucks
