I’m personally interested in getting 285/70/18 all terrain tires, but have no experience with purchasing from these brands. What is the consensus, or what are the personal experiences you all have with Toyo, Wildpeak, BF Goodrich and Nitto? Aside from looks, is one better than the other?
I’m still trying to decide if I want to go Trailhunter instead of the ORP hybrid I reserved, but I can’t find a single photo or video online of an Underground Trailhunter. Has anyone else spotted any?
66,400 is including taxes? Factory and port installed options they will never budge on. They wouldn’t even take the cross bars off mine.
Dealer installed accessoires is a different thing, but looks like that’s not the case on this one. I think it’s a take it or leave it thing, and there will...
Fair point @Nodak I didn’t think about the text on them. I’m more interested in the lights themselves. Just think they look great. Do those “premium” headlights have lettering on the other models too? Platinum or Limited for instance?
Thanks for this close up view of it @Gastan ! Looking at this it does seem likely that someone will figure this out soon, whether using OEM or aftermarket mods
Anyone know if this part of the bumper is a separate element that can be replaced for the version of the Trailhunter and the Pro that has more clearance?
I wonder what that bumper in the last pic would cost separately.
That's the main thing I really liked about the Trailhunter, and putting that on an ORP would be sweet
Thanks for the detailed breakdown @dirtwheeler !
I think the wheels and tires are going to be the first thing I take care of. The TRD pro tires and the Trailhunter tires are both using a +20 offset, and what I can find online that offset is in the wheel design so no spacers would be needed. The...
Awesome! And just for my understanding, that off-set is inherent to the wheels? Or would you need anything else than the wheels to achieve the offset? I saw that the TRD Pro has +20mm offset.
Oh and are the TRD Pro and Trailhunter more lifted than the ORP? Or is it all the same?
Hey everyone!
I test drove an Off-road premium today and man what an incredible car. For everyone who is worried the non-hybrid might feel sluggish, try the Sport mode. Probably not the best for your mileage but a ton of fun.
Anyway! I’m new to 4runners and I’m new to modifying a car, but here...
