Not too bad. Interesting that no instructions were sent so used their YouTube videos that were pretty good, though think they could have focused in on some details a little more. Beyond that, everything went on smoothly with no issues
Correct. The lock they sent is probably ~1/2" too short to work. I can get the lock on the rod.. but not far enough to allow the key to actually lock the rod down. That 3rd picture was using the accessory wheel lock I purchased which I am now using as a temporary solution
Glad to know I am not the only one. Hopefully their customer service will just send me another wheel lock if they don't have a slightly longer one designed for this type of receiver
I just installed my 1up Equip'D and the hitch lock appears to be too short to allow the lock to turn. I am having to use the wheel lock I also got for now and reached out to customer service. Anyone else with this issue?
Same.. was actually going to post to see what other people were doing for jumper cables. This is my first 4Runner and was really surprised to not find a good place to put things like these that I don't want sitting all the time
Sorry, feel like I did a poor job of wording this post with the more specific part of the question in the title and not really explaining in the post. Luckily my phone seems to be charging fine so will leave the charger as is, what I am curious about is about removing the super bright warning...
Assume this would be fine to remove but wasn’t sure if there are any unforeseen issues removing or if it actually looks worse.
