Glad no one was hurt, had a similar insurance experience where I had a 2021 Promaster work van totaled. First time I ever made out dealing with an insurance company. Paid top dollar for replacement 2025 Promaster plus extra for time off and medical. Worked out beautifully.

Actually was off roading yesterday and used the link skids and dif skid on 2 separate occasions, lower skids IMHO are probably my smartest upgrade so far.

I hear ya, been going back and forth on a lift also, bit the bullet and just ordered the 1" PEAK front. I asked about if I would need anything in the rear and they said 1" will level the Pro out. So no rear lift for now until I see how it sits.
Has anyone actually seen a pad or rotor that this is happening to? Is there any wear marks, or burn marks on either? Any discoloration, you would think there would be, that has to be generating heat.

Was taught that young and just did it as a rule of thumb to every brake pad replacement I ever did.
Personally I've always taken the edge of the face of the pad and put a 45 degree angle on it with my bench grinder, doesn't have to be much, just enough to knock the edge down. Next set of pads...
Don't have the diff skid yet. need the LCA skids first. Christmas is coming....LOL

I see the admin added my tire specs which is cool but I made this small climb without airing down, running 35 psi at the time, usually isn't that much spinning of these tires as they get great grip when aired down to my 20 psi off road pressure.
