If your doing test drives, make sure the tire pressure is where it's suppose to be at. My test ride was rough until we figured out the PDI wasn't completed at the dealership and they still had the pressure set to 50.

My experience in my Pro was the same, until I realized they had the shocks set at the softest setting (which gives it a loose feeling) and the tires were set at 50 psi. (which makes the ride harsh) add those 2 together and it isn't a quality ride. Reset to 33 psi and 2 on the shocks and it...

Personally I'm not a fan of mounting them in the hole in the interior roof. It hangs way low and is in your way putting stuff in and out of the hatch. I mounted mine using double sided tape under the trim on the hatch itself which gets out of your way with the hatch up. JMHO

I gave up on the kicky thing, wife nails it every time.
Seems the only time it even senses my foot is when I'm up against the bumper and sliding something in or out, then it dings and wants to squash me...lol

I'm getting around 16 with 89 octane driving in similar daily driving, and around 12-14 while off roading and that's with 34" "E" tires, everything covered in full skid plates, and rock sliders all which add considerable weight. Your mileage seems low... JMHO
