I am looking to mount a rack on the rear ceiling to put a shotgun on it. I removed the plastic housing on the coat hanger near the rear hatch and noted there is no simple screw that holds it. Picture attached. Any one have experience trying to mount something to this?

TRD ORP in Cutting Edge with 300 miles on OD. Rims are Vision Warrior 18 x 8.5 +18mm. About a 1.5 inch poke. Tires are BFG KO3's 295 70 18, the largest size I could get that is an E rating. Anything larger is F2 which would be an even harsher ride. Rough Country 3.5 inch lift. FrontRunner...

My TRD ORP was delivered from Arizona last week but I have not had a chance to do much with it as I was on a 10 day overland trip doing BDR's in Nevada and Utah in my FJ. Looking forward to ripping into the 4runner. 3.5 inch lift kit is awaiting me at a shop in the San Fernando Valley.

How deep are the under floor wells? Enough for jumper cables, or some spare parts, or the remote unit of a ham radio?

What did you have to angle grind? I have seen video on removing the part behind the front tires and on repositioning the wheel liner in front of the front tires, but saw nothing on grinding.

I am looking at the allocation list for an ORP that meets my specifications. I find several that meet my needs but no tow package. What I really want is the Digital Mirror. Is it possible to get that as a dealer installed option or can I add the OEM digital mirror DIY after I purchase the ORP...
