Yes, the dealer considers it sold, so that it no longer appears on the Toyota search inventory website.
It shows up in the 4runner_2025_Sold.csv and the 4runner_ChangeHistory.csv
Inventory updates will be delayed until tomorrow as my desktop computer power supply died.
Update: So I got things running and the latest is up there now.
The spreadsheets are run once a day and it is entirely possible that the car was sold after that run . That VIN will disappear from tomorrow's run, but show up in the 2025 sold file. That VIN JTEVB5BR1S5007212 information was obtained at 2025-04-30 2:55:41 CDT (the infoDateTime column) so it...
So I thought about this some more, and I think at least adding a LastChangedDateTime column in the main spreadsheet would be good to indicate the last date and time any column in that row changed value (with obvious exceptions). That way if the last time a person looked at some columns for...
Was it a temp VIN you were given (i.e. in the last 6 digits there are some letters and not all numbers).
Also it's possible if the dealer wants to hide it so no one calls about it.
See the readme.txt file for how to find out the real VIN the temp VIN changed into.
You can also message me the...
So it appears in the 4Runner_ChangeHistory.csv file there are currently 62 instances of where a temp VIN changes to a real VIN for a dealer where all the columns are exactly the same except the VIN, and it's not just the letters that change in the last 6 digits of the temp VIN going to a real...
You're welcome
So for a single VIN there could be up to 14 event rows in the Change History file if something changed for that VIN every day.
So a VIN could be added one day, then the next day modified due to say it's Hold status changes, then the next day say its Shipping Status changes along...
So this appears to be a temp VIN going to a real VIN as all the other columns match up and the one that was removed occurred on
the same inventory run as the one that was added. Interesting that more than the VIN 2 letters in the last 6 digits just don't change to make the real VIN, assuming...
So, some interesting data from the first run with the Change History
The first is a case where the VIN went from one dealer to another, Presold went from False to True, and
XP Terrain option was added, and TMSRP , TMSRP plus DIO, and Selling price all increasing (due to the added option)...
Hopefully in the next few days I will have a new feature added that will show change history in the last 14 days (in a file named <model>_ChangeHistory.csv)
So as each days run occurs it is compared to the result of the prior run and will show events for any additions (VINS that appeared since...
The inventory is obtained from the same place the Toyota Inventory search website (https://www.toyota.com/search-inventory/)
gets its data from which is https://api.search-inventory.toyota.com/graphql .
Whatever that website returns the spreadsheet will have it in it., plus that website can only...
I don't know if it disappeared before Tuesday of this week when I implemented the Sold files feature but curious if it is in the Sold files on the google drive?
You got me. What is the guest.dealer.toyota.com page? I try to bring it up and it just gives me 3 vertical bars that pulse continuously.
Maybe that is the dealers way of basically indicating it is Sold so no one calls about it.
So what was the Shipping Status on this vehicle and what were...
Ok, I have now implemented this FirstAddedDate column. Also added automatically creating and updating <model>_<year>_Sold.csv files that are vehicles that no longer show up in the inventory (defining that as sold). Thus if they were in the inventory and then disappear they are treated as sold...
I think they do negotiate among themselves as I have seen once and a while in the spreadsheet (actually via the searchForVehicles application), A VIN x that was associated with dealer A, and a VIN y that was associated with dealer B, get swapped where VIN x is now associated with dealer B and...
