  1. How to calibrate 2025 4Runner OEM TPMS?

Tire Pressures, TPMS Readings and Compressor Use – At Altitude I previously posted that I thought my TPMS system needed calibrating. I was wrong! Being a Master scuba diver with extensive training in relative and absolute pressures, I should have immediately known better! Situation: I live at...

  3. Can the key fob alone (without the paid plan) remote start the 4Runner?

Totally agree that you need an active subscription or the 10 year trial. Interesting that a "Trial" is up to 10 years!
  4. Can the key fob alone (without the paid plan) remote start the 4Runner?

I might add to the above post that you can do the following things via the Toyota App: Remote lock, start and unlock Check status of vehicle (tire pressure, doors, windows) Health of vehicle (safety recalls, vehicle alerts etc.) Vehicle location Again, correct me as needed but you can do all...
  5. Can the key fob alone (without the paid plan) remote start the 4Runner?

This is my understanding of Toyota’s Connected Services for 2025 vehicles. Please correct as needed! 2025 Toyota Connected Services**:  Safety Connect (free 'Trial' up to 10 years) • Emergency Assistance Button • Enhanced Roadside Assistance • Automatic Collision Notification •...
  6. Can the key fob alone (without the paid plan) remote start the 4Runner?

The press lock, lock, and hold 3rd lock works on my 2025 4Runner (no subscription to anything). Question - Can the 10 minutes be extended by a program change? Yes, I understand you can do 10 minutes and 10 minutes again but that is a pain in the a**.
  7. Cabin Air Filter Replacement - Part Number & DIY Instructions [Updated with correct parts confirmed by dealer]

Yep, the pro one looks rectangular in the pictures and indicates that it is the right one. However, if you search PTR03-35241-AA, it shows this one is the correct one, and it is! Note Conical shape.
  8. Cabin Air Filter Replacement - Part Number & DIY Instructions [Updated with correct parts confirmed by dealer]

Furthermore, the Owners Manual says to REPLACE the Engine Air Filter every 30K (normal use). No mention about cleaning etc.
  9. Cabin Air Filter Replacement - Part Number & DIY Instructions [Updated with correct parts confirmed by dealer]

Yep, part searches show the disposable one to be compatible. Only one problem - the disposable one in rectangular and the OEM is barrel shaped!
  10. Hybrid Battery Filter Replacement - DIY Writeup & Part Number (G92DH-34010 / G92DJ-34010)

Yep! For the 2025 TH and Pro, the Engine Air Filter Part: 17801-YZZ11 is NOT the correct filter. The TH and Pro have a reusable filter that is meant to be cleaned. Toyota apparently no longer sells a cleaning kit. Need to use a third-party cleaning kit such as K&N Air Filter Cleaning Kit-99-5000...
  11. Cabin Air Filter Replacement - Part Number & DIY Instructions [Updated with correct parts confirmed by dealer]

  12. Hybrid Battery Filter Replacement - DIY Writeup & Part Number (G92DH-34010 / G92DJ-34010)

Sorry, guess I did not supply enough information. Looking for parts numbers for Cabin and Engine air filters for 2025 4Runner Trailhunter (Hybrid). The air filter is 'round' similar to a K&N SE-0930. Thanks
  13. Hybrid Battery Filter Replacement - DIY Writeup & Part Number (G92DH-34010 / G92DJ-34010)

Great info., Thanks! BTW, Does anyone know the OEM Toyota part number for the Cabin and Engine air filters, 2025 4Runner Hybrid? I get mixed results when searching for the correct part numbers.
  14. How to calibrate 2025 4Runner OEM TPMS?

I have come to learn that all four TPMSs (have not checked the spare) are reading 3 lbs. high. I have double-triple checked all four tires, with three different gauges, after sitting in a cool garage over night, and made sure the pressure was exactly 33 psi for all four tires. However, the...
  15. Not Happy with Toyo 265/70/18 OEM Tires

Definitely a coin toss between OC3s vs KO3s (E). Since I live in the mountains, the slightly higher rating (Tire Rack) for winter and wet conditions, I will probably go with the KO3. But the OC3 weigh a little less (6 pounds) and have a tiny bit deeper tread (0.3”). Tire Rack comparison...
  16. Not Happy with Toyo 265/70/18 OEM Tires

Yep, I agree may folks are running ‘E’ at reduced PSI with no apparent problems. A few observations: Wonder why the LT265/70R18 ‘E’ loading, are rated at ‘Q’ or 99 mph? Most other ‘E’ Open Country A/T III are ‘S’ or 112 mph. The P265/70R18 has a max load of 2756 (lbs.) whereas the LT275/65R18...
  17. Not Happy with Toyo 265/70/18 OEM Tires

Thanks for the great comments and info! I also have no dog in the fight, just trying to get myself educated before buying replacement tires. I have run LT KO2 ‘E’ rated tires before, at a reduced air pressure, but not down to sub 30 PSI. Any concern running 80 mph with such low air pressures...
  18. Not Happy with Toyo 265/70/18 OEM Tires

As you pointed out, the 2025 4Runner Trailhunter OE Open Country A/T III tires are passenger tires, with a standard load (SL) rating. Toyo does offer a few LT Open Country A/T III tires in a ‘C’ load rating. But not in 265/70R18. Many LT tires available in ‘E’ load rating. I have run many...
  19. Not Happy with Toyo 265/70/18 OEM Tires

Have run KO2/K03 and other AT tires on several 4Runners. First experience with Toyo tires. Comments: 1. ) Driving in my neighborhood (road is under construction) and ripped sidewall out of a tire. Very surprised tire could not handle rocks. 2.) Disappointed Toyo Open Country A/T III only have...
