No 16s will not clear the brakes. I tried putting 16inch TRD pro wheels from the 3rd gen tacoma onto a 2024 tacoma and they would not fit.

I had these in my tacoma. Definitely a pain in the ass to install but worth it. I will for sure get these for the 4Runner but they do sales pretty frequently so I’ll wait on that. I picked them up for $230 for the Tacoma on sale.

My issue is that when I have the AC button OFF but the temp turned all the way down, it’s blowing hot air through the vents. Every vehicle I’ve owned, if ac is off but you have the air on it should be about the same temp as the outside air?

Interesting. The Tacoma only calls for 5 quarts and I figured they would use the same differential. Either way I always just fill until it starts flowing out of the fill plug.

Probably not the right way to approach this but I don’t change it unless I’m having problems or I’m doing brakes which is somewhere between 50-80k miles. On my old Tacoma I went like 7 years before replacing the fluid while doing the brakes.

I don’t think it really matters much but the front to back rotation has to do with rotational vs non rotational tires. In theory if you have rotational tires and cross rotate from one side to the other it would force them to rotate in the wrong direction.

Not worth it. When you go to trade your car in the dealer doesn’t care if your paint is a 10/10 or a 5/10. Just do regular washing and waxing and park in the back of parking lots.

The wheels are lug centric. You don’t need hub rings but they’re nice to have. I use them because they make it easier to take the wheel on and off.
