So probably the final addition to this thread. Unfortunately, the light bar had to be removed (at great expense to me) due to the lack of clearance between the front radar and the light bar itself.
After ~3 months of no issues, I received a message on the dash stating "System Stopped Front...
Kit comes with the light bar, mounting brackets, and wiring harness.
This company has something like your saying, but it's substantially more expensive and didn't look as clean IMO...
Hahaha as HVLA said, just trying to make sure the light was pointed level. It was day time and there’s no way to get at the adjustment screws after putting the bumper back. Best I could come up with at the time lol
Recently purchased/installed the 32" Lo Pro Grille LED Light Bar Kit from @Cali Raised LED recently released for the 6th gen 4Runner (https://caliraisedled.com/products/32-lo-pro-grille-led-light-bar-kit-for-2025-toyota-4runner) on my ORP and thought I'd share my install process and what I...
My truck came with the optional pre-wired aux buttons which are already installed into the dash and mostly pre wired. Using the factory pigtail for Aux 1, I clipped the wiring harness that came with the lightbar where it met the relay. Then it was just a matter of connecting the two wires and...
Good news! Toyota was able to clear almost all of the codes beside the front radar. The tech was able to determine that the connector was not completely seated. Irregardless, my $40 Amazon obd2 scanner would not have been able to clear the codes.
With that, the connectors that need to be...
Bad news. After installing the light bar, i now have every check engine/sensor/system malfunction warning on the car going off. I went back and re-disconnected the battery for ~30 min and then the lift gate would no longer function.
Dropped the truck at toyota hoping its just a system reset...
Based on my experience with the CaliRaised kit on my '16 Tacoma and what i'm seeing looking behind the grill and in the install video (below), there isn't going to be room to adjust after installation without removing at least the skid plate...more realistically the bumper.
As i did with my...
Apologies for the delays….life finds a way of interrupting upgrades. Have not yet fully installed the light bar, but was able to confirm my wiring using the factory option accessory power connected to the provided light bar wiring kit. Will post some pics of the install process once completed.
Cali Raised just got back to me with the video instructions and I can confirm I’m not missing any hardware. Will install and report back this weekend (or whenever it stops raining).
link for those interested:
Just received the kit but there are no instructions to be found anywhere (none included in the box and none online) and only one bolt came with the mounting brackets (no instructions so I can't tell if this is right).
The brackets are substantially different from the Tacoma so I'd rather not...
I got mine from the dealership at purchase. That being said, I had to ask the sales rep to make sure the pigtails were included and they had to go grab them from a different truck.
Mine seem to fit fine. I do have the small gap behind the center console but I think there may be a difference in the tunnel on the hybrid. That being said they fit just as well as the huskys I had in my Tacoma previously which where almost twice as expensive.
I can confirm that the non-hybrid mats for the front and back seats fit perfectly for the hybrid. I would suggest letting them sit in the sun for a bit to flatten them out after being bent during shipping.
I had the same concern but it was less the hard plastic and more of the square edge. It's not terrible but i would also probably be interested in some kind of pad.
2016 Tacoma TRD-Off Road (mostly stock except for a light-bar and eventual wildpeaks) straight to the 4Runner. Absolutely loved the truck but the backseat starts to get small when you start planning for a family.
Anyone know if the front/rear seat mats for a non-hybrid would work on the hybrid?
I realize the cargo mat would be different, but i don't see any reason why the front/back seat mats wouldn't fit. LasFit unfortunately were unable to give an answer on that.
