i wouldnt say “felt” , but it may very well be against a boulder/big rock if you happen to drive/skid across it. It is hard plastic, plenty thick, it’ll protect from smaller rocks flying at it, but i wouldnt rely too much on it if you off-road a lot. For mall crawler, it’ll be fine

Mine has a resonator within the 14inch area and hooks to hold it after the resonator! What the heck hahaha, so no i cant cut it short, cutting before the resonator off would be too short, cutting after the resonator wouldnt make that much of a difference 😀 Oh well, it is not meant to be

That makes sense... it does happened with my friend's 5th gen, but not to the excess of getting on to the windshield as much. Have you notice hood vibrating/fluttering at high speed? I'm thinking air flow into/under the scoop that can cause such issue.
