I did. I'm 6' tall, for reference. The driver's seat was all the way back and the battery was disconnected so it couldn't be adjusted. It was tight behind the driver's seat, but if it were in a more realistic position, it would be fine. Passenger side was comfortable. Comparable to the current gen.
January deliveries probably won't happen, unfortunately. Once they hit the port it can still take 4-8 weeks to actually take delivery by the time it goes through port acceptance, Toyota port installs, shipping, and the dealer actually getting possession. A company I'm very familiar with claimed...
This was unlocked and available to sit in. Genuinely satisfied with the touch and feel of the interior. Seats felt very comfortable.
Updated with more thoughts:
I was not considering a TRD Pro. My initial pick was a TRD Off Road Premium Hybrid. I switched to a TRD Sport Premium because I fell...

I'm foggy on remembering if the TRD Off Road has a different suspension than the TRD Sport. I do know the OR is running almost 33" tires, while the Sport is running 31.5". If the suspension is not. Do we know yet if 33" tires will fit on stock height Sports? I'm on the list for a Sport Premium...
Question on the port installed options - is that all stuff you discussed and chose with your salesperson, or is that stuff that is getting thrown on without input? My salesman has been great so far, but when my allocation hits, I don't want to have an extra $3k in options slapped on that I can't...
I can't imagine waitlisted dealers would be willing to negotiate on MSRP. Why would they, when they can just move on to the next person in line with a matching (or close) spec? I'm not guaranteeing they won't negotiate, but I just don't see it being likely. Where you would be able to find wiggle...
Yeah, those are the wheels I'm referencing. I saw they were only available as an option on the OR. I guess the issue is tire size, since there are some various sizes now vs 5th gen. I'm looking at a TRD Sport Premium (20" Wheels) and was hoping to get a more aggressive wheel and tire combo...
Why would the 18" Matte TRD wheels not be listed as an option on the other trims? I can't imagine Toyota saying, "No, we won't take your $1300 to allow these on every trim." Surely they can be added, no? I thought on the 5th gen they were always a port add anyway.
Might be a weird question... but how much different are the factory roof rack mounting locations on the 5th gen vs 6th gen? Will any existing racks be able to swap or no? I know it's very unlikely, just checking.
I guess I'm stuck on how the current 4Runner used to come. The TRD option wheels were the same as what came on the Pro, or at least that's the way it was a few years ago. I wouldn't think Toyota would put highway tires on the TRD optioned wheels, but you never know.
Do you get the same tires regardless of what trim you might option the Pro wheels on? If I get a TRD Sport, but get the TRD Pro wheels, do I get appropriate tires or are they gonna throw some highway tires on?
Pricing has to be right around the corner, right? Hard to believe they would start building without having the configurator available with pricing on Toyota's website.
My preliminary choice with my dealer was a TRD OR, however, seeing those painted fenders on the TRD sport may have me changing my mind. It looks to me that it may be a Sport Premium? Looks like Softex interior. Maybe the differentiator on painted fenders or not is the "Premium" tag. Same goes...
My theory: The "supply chain delay" is a multi-faceted response to hopefully resolve the transmission issues being seen in the Tacomas, as well as the added drag on their resources regarding the Tundra engine recall/replacement. My hope is that they are trying to resolve issues before pushing...
Ackerman Toyota in St. Louis, MO. I've got a deposit there and was told all 4Runners will be MSRP besides Trailhunter and Pro. Those will have a $2500 adjustment
