In a nutshell, TRD Sport is a very capable car on road and off road. Easily customizable and nice smooth ride, and affordable! I went to buy a premium and saw no reason to pay extra, especially that all the premium goodies are available from toyota and after market vendors for half the price.
Quick Question, Does the 4 steel mounts come with a rubber base?
I installed one on my TRD Sport and don't seem to remember seeing any rubber gromets of base / weather strip under those steel mounts.
So, I took my OEM rubber grommets that held down my roof rails that came on my original bolts...
Just got a Trail Hunter roof rack. Question, does the four corner carrier legs have like a rubber gasket/ weather seal under the base of four legs carrying the rack. My car is a TRD Sport.

To reduce wind noise: Is there a solution for the gap between front fender and door? I know there's a part number Weather Strip 67865-AK020 and 67866-AK020, however, it's for the 2024+ Tacoma. Anyone knows what's the equivalent for the 2025 4Runner?
I have a TRD Sport and was thinking the same thing. I guess the install is pretty straight forward, and may need to source electricity and signal, I do not know if there is a plug that already exists in the wiring harness or we need a separate small harness to hook up to the existing one...
Coated by me and can do the same to you. Located in Sacramento, CA
Note: those pics are taken on different time frames, trips, no washing for extended periods of times.
I am sure a retro fit will be coming soon. I am actually thinking of get a used pair of electric shocks and switch and retro fit it to the back door. I am sure the Rav4 or Sequoia parts will fit. You don't have to pay the big bucks for a premium pkg, that most probably you won't use day to day.
