I'm not a fan of the drop step design of the Predator steps. I prefer a more streamlined look.
Yeah it's been nearly a month but honestly I'm not in a big rush. I told the guys there to take as much time as they want to with it & to just make sure everything is pristine when ready. I check in...
Small world, man! ?
I didn't want the step rails. It was coming with the predator steps but I don't like them on the TRD Sport trim. I ordered some black oval tube steps for 25% off from Fred Haas Toyota World in Spring afterward to have installed. I think they look better on my trim.

Yeah, I saw that you do. The problem is that the grill on my TRD Sport Premium is designed differently than on your Trailhunter. It doesn't have that honeycomb pattern on it like yours...just horizontal lines. I'm not sure the device you used is best for my grill. I may just have to wing it &...
Me too, bud! Near the dead West Oaks Mall.
I may just try out the windshield license plate method & see how it goes. I really don't want to drill onto my bumper or “jerry rig” much.
I traveled about 250 miles to purchase mine. Got mine built how I wanted it for $57,500 Drive Out at Family...
I would assume that the all the interior dimensions are the same for the Gasoline models regardless of trim packages. The only difference might be the 5 passenger versus the 7 passenger configurations which shouldn't be too difficult to figure out even if a 7 passenger 4Runner is scanned.
I...
Hello from Far West Houston!
I wish you luck with the license plate in the front windshield. I hope you never catch any tickets. ????? But if you do please post about it & let us know!
I'm still desperately trying to find a no drilling solution so I can apply my Texas required front license plate to my TRD Sport Premium. Has anyone found a product designed specifically for this new generation of 4Runner yet?
Very disappointing news I received from TuxMat yesterday, folks. See the representative's reply as follows:
“Thank you for your interest in TuxMat. Mats for the 2025 Toyota 4Runner will be made and development will start when this vehicle's interior is scanned at our warehouse. We're still on...
I plan to use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum oil at 275, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 4,000 miles & at 4,000-5,000 mile intervals. New Premium Guard Extended or CarQuest Premium filter at every change interval.
I think it looks really cool but I'd be concerned about how practical it is in the long run. Having the wheels powder coated black would be more practical for the long term I think but more costly also.
I'd also like to know which ValvoMax Quick Twist Valve size to order. They don't have it optioned on their website yet & customer service doesn't know when it will become available. ?
• Does anyone know what the official thread size of the oil drain bolt is & also what the official torque...
Yeah that's why I'll personally keep it stock & all the workings accurate. I'd prefer more sidewall on the 20” wheels but not at the cost of affecting several things & having to get corrections made.
