  1. Does the iForce Max Hybrid system change from engine to battery less often during specific weather or feature conditions?

I haven't done testing in Eco, but I will try and report back the next time I'm out and about.
  2. Does the iForce Max Hybrid system change from engine to battery less often during specific weather or feature conditions?

Interesting, thanks for the insight. I'm going to keep monitoring it as the temps drop to see if anything changes.
  3. Does the iForce Max Hybrid system change from engine to battery less often during specific weather or feature conditions?

Yea, I like to know what is going on - first year of owning a hybrid of this type, so it's definitely puzzling. Thanks for the response.
  4. Does the iForce Max Hybrid system change from engine to battery less often during specific weather or feature conditions?

Interesting info, thanks. Well, I just called the dealership and they tried to dismiss my claim saying its operating within normal spec. I explained that I read the manual, and understand when the hybrid system goes on and off, they tried to tell me it was weather related as soon as I...
  5. Does the iForce Max Hybrid system change from engine to battery less often during specific weather or feature conditions?

Thanks for response. Yea it probably won’t get that cold where I am. At most maybe -20C. Alright, I guess I’ll just live with it and see what happens.
  6. Does the iForce Max Hybrid system change from engine to battery less often during specific weather or feature conditions?

I took my OFP Hybrid in for service not too long ago. First service at 8000km and I am noticing that the hybrid system doesn't kick on as often as it used to when I was driving around in the summer time. Normally the battery would kick on at a stop light, or while in drivethru's, but it seems...
  7. Looking for plastic snap on sleeve for rear lift gate wiring

My 3m double sided tape, gorilla glue and black paint (car colour) to hide the white tape residue sill is holding up. I also bought (but haven’t used yet) some utility plastic ties from Amazon - https://a.co/d/4zJoPDL With the ties from Amazon, you could just wrap around the plastic part to...
  8. Weird clinking sound coming from under the vehicle once turned off

I haven't received a response back from a Toyota master technician - but doing some googling most are saying that it's components and exhaust heat shield expanding/contracting to cool down after use. It happens when idling at the side of the road when in EV mode (no engine running). The first...
  9. Weird clinking sound coming from under the vehicle once turned off

Hello all. I have a Hybrid 2025 4Runner ORP and I am noticing a weird clinking sound coming from under the vehicle when I turn it off. The sound appears to be under the full vehicle, I walked around and listened at each tire - it's audible wherever I listen, not direct in the front or rear...
  10. Do I need Toyota factory TPMS for my winter wheels?

I took them specifically to Toyota because a tire shop in my area couldn't properly do aftermarket ones with the vehicle itself, so I would assume there's a special tool to add the OEM's to the vehicle and program them properly. Personally, I'd just take it to the dealership and get it done.
  11. Do I need Toyota factory TPMS for my winter wheels?

That's what is on my Toyota Invoice as what they installed. Price is in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  12. Do I need Toyota factory TPMS for my winter wheels?

42607-76020 is what I used, labeled "VALVE SUB-ASSY" so has the valve assembly with sensors.
  13. Do I need Toyota factory TPMS for my winter wheels?

So I'm based in Canada, the total cost was $660 CAD. So basically, $86 per sensor (exclusive of taxes), and $240 (exclusive of taxes) for labour. Labour was to program both sets to Set 1 and set 2. The tires were only on one set of wheels, the other wheels were in the vehicle with no...
  14. Do I need Toyota factory TPMS for my winter wheels?

I just went through this whole thing a while back with my 4Runner. I bought new 18" TRD black wheels for my summers, and used the stock ORP wheels for my winters. Get Toyota TPMS units. If you get aftermarket, they will have to clone them so both wheels use the same ID's so you don't see the...
  15. Looking for plastic snap on sleeve for rear lift gate wiring

Wow this could be a solution if my 3m double sided tape, gorilla glue and black paint fails lol. Thanks!
  16. Looking for plastic snap on sleeve for rear lift gate wiring

How would the shrink tubing work or be applied? The part that’s broken is the clip that holds the thing to the frame. The plastic piece in my images that covers the wiring is perfectly in tact. It’s just a plastic snap on wrap. Hard to explain.
  17. Looking for plastic snap on sleeve for rear lift gate wiring

I did a search on megazip which is a site one of the sales guys told me about when I bought my 25' 4runner, and it shows out of stock: https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya/toyota/wire-roof-no-1-8217135B90?q=82171-35B90
  18. Looking for plastic snap on sleeve for rear lift gate wiring

Hi all. I got my rear dash cam installed yesterday (fixed as it was mounted incorrectly by an installer) and during the re routing of the rear cam USB cable, they went through the part where all the electronic wiring harness is and in turn, they accidently broke the plastic snap on sleeve that...
  19. Rear Dashcam Mount

I'm going to try this one: https://www.amazon.ca/FSNIWEKO-Dashcam-2010-2023-Accessories-Clip-Rear/dp/B0DF5WD7VX?crid=3FWIO5QXZJQ9G (Amazon Canada Link). It actually looks similar to https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPVJSBJ7?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_XZ9BWZG4MS6758C65GZ4 however, the above...
